It is true that we do not get to choose our family. That is true of both our blood family, and the family that we find out in the word, at least in my opinion.
We are drawn to those that make us whole makes us happy, though the trip to fnd that family can be long, bumpy and painful, I find that trip to be fully worth it.
Some can feel like kids of your own. They make you want to protect them and teach them better ways to the end goal than through the trials you faced yourself.
Some can feel like siblings being your equal that you can chat with about common interests, or work out hard adult problems.
And of course there are our four legged furry family members, that may protect us just as much as we want to protect them.,
Finding that place where you fit in, with great people can be a life long search. But it is a search that is well worth it in the end. Just remember that you will get what you put in to that family dynamic.
